Unable to get Presto to print out Agenda & Email Notifications for Gmail Calendar

Hi Peter, Sure hope you (or someone) can help me. I followed your GREAT email tip re setting up a google gmail calendar for the daily events at my 83 year old mother's Assisted Living residence, so she would not miss any activities she enjoys, but can't remember without written reminders. I set up the original google calendar up under the same gmail address as is shown under the Presto Account Manager (Me) but this gmail account is set up under my mother's name, not mine. I had a Daily Agenda email early in the morning, and individual event email notifications two hours prior to the event successfully coming into this gmail account, as scheduled, for several days. I then went into this original gmail account (under which the calendar was created) and through the "Manage Calendar" area ADDED my mother's emailaddress@presto.com to SHARE the original calendar as " See all event notifications ." I then went to Presto.com and added the original calendar gmail address to the Friends List, under my mother's name this time. I also added the following "Friend" as instructed: calendar-notification@google.com. So now both the gmail address for the original google calendar and the calendar-notification show...

Make it Easier...

I have an elderly single parent with an onset of mild dementia. My hope for the Presto Service is to be able to send her daily messages that will keep her mind active, and I believe that this service can help. She has already solved a number of the daily word jumble puzzles, and I would like to see other "mental exercise games" targeted at various levels that we could try... This is on top of the benefit that I can send her DAILY personal notes with family photos which helps to keep her recognition faculties alert... I must say, though, I am deeply disappointed that the HP Mailbox only holds 50 pages of paper while the ink cartridge says it is capable of printing 300-plus pages. How much more would it have cost to have designed the device with a 1-ream paper capacity?... My fear is that my mother will not be able to load new paper every week or every other week, and that may be the show-stopper here. If anyone develops an "engineering hack" that will expand the paper capacity, please post details! (Extra points if it doesn't void the warranty... )

Parents enjoying Presto

Recently purchased and connected a Presto for my parents and they are enjoying it. They are Depression Babies both 80+ and they were not interested in using a computer, but Presto is working perfectly for them. The family consists of 8 adult children and 14 grandkids (mostly young adults) plus all of the spouses, boyfriends, girlfriends etc, all of whom are widely spreadout within the US, all on-line. We are all trying to send at least one note a week to them via Presto.... The family utilizes Yahoo Groups to manage a family focused email list, originally established to communicate effectively during a serious illness that Mom went through. The mail list has morphed to a sharing and gathering planning forum. We are sharing birthday, prom and graduation pictures etc as well as everyone posts pictures of their Christmas trees, which is always fun. There are also Birthday and anniversary calendar reminders. With presto we have now added Mom and Dad to the mail list and they are now sharing in all this family news. Working fantastically!!!!!! The longer term hope is that we will eventually move them to real email so that they could reply. (Hint hint to Presto...

I think I understand the obvious scenario where multiple family members and friends can send pictures to a single person but could this device/service be used in a group setting? If my grandmother lived in a retirement home with other people, can she share the service with her friends?
