Print Job Breaking Up

Has anyone experienced the issue of missing pages and a print job breaking up over several dial-ins? I sent my grandmother an eleven page PDF file today. She received 9 out of the 11 pages (pages 6 & 8 were missing). In addition, the e-mail print job was broken up over two deliveries, one half of it came out during her 1 pm call-in and the other half came out during her 3 pm call-in. Does anyone know why this would happen? My grandmother is totally deaf and does not use the telephone, so I the print job was not interrupted by anyone using the phone line.

I don't know if she's the exception or the rule, but my granny LOVES Nascar and would love to receive news reports on Nascar on her Presto....any chance this will be added? How about Bible verses? She'd like that too!

Has anyone tried this? any problems? showstoppers? Thanx

Clear Queued Mail?

My mother's printing mailbox has had a paper jam for a few days, and she is unable to clear it. When we finally have it cleared, we won't want all of the old news articles, and other pending deliveries to print, wasting paper & ink... How can we clear the queue?

Suspend Mail

Is there an easy way to suspend delivery of the subscriptions? After returning from a week away, my mother was confronted with over 50 pages of "mail", that had accumulated in her absence. All of this was from the daily subscriptions... It would be a good feature to be able to designate an "away" period during which to suspend all subscriptions (without having to unsubscribe and re-subscribe). This would save on ink and paper, not to mention the clutter of having old news, etc to sift through.

Different crossword

Hi, The daily crossword and word jumble puzzles available from Presto are the same as the ones published in our Granny’s daily newspaper. Does anyone know of another daily delivery source for crossword puzzles - free or not free. There are many crossword puzzle sources listed on the Internet. However, I could not find any that simply would or could, without advertisements, send a printable one a day crossword puzzle. Thanks, van65

Make it Easier...

I have an elderly single parent with an onset of mild dementia. My hope for the Presto Service is to be able to send her daily messages that will keep her mind active, and I believe that this service can help. She has already solved a number of the daily word jumble puzzles, and I would like to see other "mental exercise games" targeted at various levels that we could try... This is on top of the benefit that I can send her DAILY personal notes with family photos which helps to keep her recognition faculties alert... I must say, though, I am deeply disappointed that the HP Mailbox only holds 50 pages of paper while the ink cartridge says it is capable of printing 300-plus pages. How much more would it have cost to have designed the device with a 1-ream paper capacity?... My fear is that my mother will not be able to load new paper every week or every other week, and that may be the show-stopper here. If anyone develops an "engineering hack" that will expand the paper capacity, please post details! (Extra points if it doesn't void the warranty... )
