My 93 year old Nana was having a problem with her machine. She was frantic and it was a Sunday and I couldn't get help until Monday so I posted. The people in customer service were WONDERFUL! It turns out she needed a new machine, which she has, and we are back in business. The old one had been hit by lightening, it was 3 years old.  She looks forward to her messages 2x every day!

Debbie, thanks so much for sharing your positive experience! Glad the Presto is working well and that you had great service. Can you tell us more about what your Nana likes best about her Presto? What kind of messages does she like to receive?

Dear Peter:

My Nana has children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren all over the country, as well as a sibling(!), and all her nieces, nephews, etc.  Everyone is into the e-mail generation and she wanted nothing to do with a computer.  My cousin Jenna contacted a group of us with this idea 3 years ago.

We decided to go for it.  Nana is "hooked" on her Presto machine anxiously awaiting her mail 2x a day.  She gets e-mails, copies scanned in of her great-grandchildren's school work, articles that relate to her, them and anything people think she might be interested in.

Last week, one of my cousins was up from Georgia and we  had dinner with Nana.  We were talking about how much she loves her Presto machine and he commented that he wondered if nursing homes, assisted living etc. know about this as it brings so much pleasure to his mother and all you need is a phone line and a plug!

 Thanks for asking!

Debbie Roberts
