Hi there,

Is there any way that in addition to the date the email was sent (or received?) that a time stamp could also be printed? Such as "sent at 4:02pm on Friday, February 22, 2008"?

The recipient of the Presto machine I'm maintaining even asked me about this!

Thanks,

Kelly

I'll ask about this with Presto's product team. Because Presto is not meant to be an instant fax delivery service, and because delivery times are also dependent on whether someone in the household is on the telephone at the scheduled call-in time, I don't know if this would provide a lot of value to the user.

I'd love to know what you think the real value of a timestamp would be to the Presto user, or the account manager. Please post your thoughts.

It's VERY important. Using Presto to communication  pick up times not just send pictures or updates is one reason we thought of Presto, especially when an older user is hard of hearing and phone calls can be misunderstood.  For caregivers It would also show what quality service is provided vs ability of users to process info.  Presto could be of great value for a caregiver not just a nice idea.

My mother who has a Printing Mailbox has frequently mentioned to me that she'd like to know when the messages were actually sent.  She knows that she only receives them 6 times per day, so the time received is unimportant to her, it's the time actually sent by the sender that's important to her.

As an example, the last time they get sent to her each evening is 9pm.  When she gets her first messages in the morning, she often wonders how late at night the sender actually sent the messages to her.
