Have not purchased yet but when my mother inlaw calls out for her messages will there be a long distance call or an 800 number to use. I am sure there will not be a local number available. She lives in Moorefield WV.

The Presto uses a network of local phone numbers so your mother-in-law shouldn't be charged any long distance charges for using the Presto.  For more info, check out this thread:

And, for the few people who live outside the dial-up infrastructure, we use 800 numbers to connect. So, she won't be charged.
