Just heard about Presto about 2 hrs ago... and it seems to be what I've been looking for.... this would be for my mother who lives by herself about 2 hours away from me.... she's having some short term memory problems and I'd like to be able to print her daily calendar every morning.... would like to manage her calendar on Google Calendar (or something similar) and have it send an email every AM to her Presto email address....

Has anyone tried this?   any problems? showstoppers?

Thanx

Today, the way you can get a daily calendar to her would be to either A) write out a daily calendar in the text of an email, or B) save a calendar page (such as Google calendar, or other) as a PDF and send it as an attachment. Both methods work very well and I'm sure many Presto users already do this today.

This solution requires that I "do" something every day.... since Google calendar can send a daily email with the day's contents, I was wondering if I could get Goole to send to her presto mail box.... and would presto interpet the data correctly...

Thanx

I've been using the Google Calendar for a while now, and at about 5:40 AM, it sends me my daily agenda.

The good thing is that you can set up email forwarding with Gmail in the "settings" option, and then it will send the agenda to her Presto.  I haven't tried this, so give it a shot and see how it works!

We are testing Google Calendar beta and Presto now. If we are able to get it to work, we will publish step-by-step directions for all community members. Stay tuned...
