Peter is normally the one who answers questions, but is out of town, so I thought I'd take a stab.

I have spoken to our engineering group, and the issue you describe was created by design.  If you send an email with an image embedded within the text (rather than as an attachment), in addition to the larger picture, Presto will also print a thumbnail of the image at the point in the email where you inserted it.  This is so that the reader doesn't lose the context, as in "...and we stayed at this hotel:"  Without the thumbnail, that statement would be left kind of hanging out there on its own, especially if it was in a relatively long message.

To avoid having the thumbnail print, send photos as attachments, rather than within the email.
