Can I pay for a year of the service up front or does it go month to month? Seems like it could be easy to bundle the printer and the service as a holiday or birthday gift. Just curious.

I bought two Presto Printing Mailboxes in December 2006 and gave them as Christmas gifts with one year of service. I plan on renewing for a year as Christmas 2007 gifts. Plus throwing in some ink. :)

I have a somewhat morbid (albeit pragmatic) question to ask about this. If I pay for a year in advance and something unfortunate happens (after all my mother is elderly), can I get a refund for the unused portion?

Indeed, this is a poignant question. Presto Services Inc. policy is to give you a prorated refund for unused service months even if you have paid for a year in advance. That is why we have no contracts, and no stipulations that would deter people from taking advantage of the $20 savings offered in the one-year service option.
