You should be able to do it if you set the options in your VoIP box (mine's a D-Link) for "fax/modem." We had to do that to allow our original TiVo to dial in.

Is there a way to set up a Presto w/o an analog phone line?
We're in an office environment and I'm not sure a regular phone jack is anywhere around me.
Presto's HP Printing Mailbox needs an analog phone line to function. Often times a corporate "digital" phone system simply provides direct connection through to a dedicated external analog phone line when the correct prefix (e.g., 8 or 9) is pressed, and so that's all you need to do. The HP Printing Mailbox is programmed to try different prefixes when it is first connected.
For other phone systems (e.g., VoIP or ones that digitally multiplex multiple call-outs over a single analog), you must request a special analog pass-through line; in such an environment, this is the same thing that's needed for standard office fax machines. So if a user has a "fax" line available, that should work for the Presto as well.
