Even though the messages and images Presto users receive from friends and family will be different, all Presto users have at least one thing in common... ink. After a good while of printing, your HP Printing Mailbox is going to run out of gas, and you'll need to toss a new print (ink) cartridge so those wonderful messages can keep on flowing.
How do you know it's time for a new cartridge? If at any time messages appear less vibrant or are missing colors entirely, it's probably time to pick up a new HP 95 or HP 97 Tri Color Print Cartidge for your printer. How To Install the New Cartridge
The Printing Mailbox must be plugged in before inserting a new or replacement print cartridge. Once the device is plugged in and the blue Ready light is on, please proceed as follows:
- Step 1—Open the top cover. Push the cover gently until it stays up. Wait for the printer carriage to move to the right side of the Printing Mailbox.
- Step 2—Lightly press down on the print cartridge to release it (a), then remove it from the cartridge slot (b) as indicated below:
- Step 3—Remove the new print cartridge (HP 95 or HP 97) from the protective pouch as indicated below:
- Step 4—Pull the pink tab to remove the tape from the cartridge as indicated below:
- Step 5—Place the new cartridge in the empty slot. Push the top part of the cartridge forward until it clicks into place as indicated below:
- Step 6—Close the top cover.
If you've followed the above steps correctly, your HP Printing Mailbox with Presto Service will now be ready to continue printing those important messages and photos from all your friends and family.
